Executive Chef, Chef Phillip Dewayne

Chef Phillip Dewayne was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Chef Phillip believes that he didn't choose cooking, it chose him. At the age of 18 he was presented a rare opportunity to train under Executive Chef of the Peabody Hotel Andreas Kisler and took full advantage! He's always intentional about giving him credit because he feels that without his rigorous training and continued support there would be no Chef Phillip Dewayne. After his tenure at the Peabody, Chef Dewayne traveled to San Diego to become a banquet chef for the Del Coronado in Coronado, California. He was soon thereafter offered a position to be a lead chef at the Grand Del Mar in La Jolla, California which is a 15 star, 5 diamond establishment. During his tenure there he was one of the chefs who assisted in Lebron James wedding.  He specializes in a variety of cuisines, but the vast majority of his influences are French.
